An affiliate is a company that is related by common ownership. Examples of our affiliates include our community development group, insurance agency, and others. All of these companies work together to provide accounts and services to meet your individual needs. We may share any of the personal information that we collect about you among companies within the CNB family as permitted by law.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act gives you the opportunity to limit the sharing of “non-experience information” within the CNB family. “Non-experience information” includes information that is used, expected to be used, or collected for the purpose of establishing your eligibility for consumer credit, insurance or deposit accounts, and is not related solely to your transactions or other experiences with us. If you prefer that we not share non-experience information about you with the CNB family of companies, you may opt out by contacting us as described under Privacy Choices.

INFORMATION REGARDING FORMER CUSTOMERS

Even when you are no longer our customer, we may disclose your nonpublic personal information with third parties as permitted by law as described above.

You can limit the information about you that we share. We will continue to share transaction and account experience information among our affiliates through the normal course of doing business and servicing your financial needs.

MONEY ORDERS

Citizens National Bank also engages in the business of selling checks as an agent for a company licensed under the laws of the State of Texas and subject to regulatory oversight by the Texas Department of Banking. Any consumer wishing to file a complaint concerning sale of checks activities should contact the Texas Department of Banking.
